He has worked as a Legal Advisor in the IRS – Internal Revenue Services between 1987 and 1994, in various areas, such as the Regional Legal Department, Tax Court and Inheritance Department in the Managing Office of the Metropolitan Region Department, of Santiago Center; And in the Defense Department of the National Department of this same controlling organicism.He held a Senior Management position in the Legal Tax Division at Ernst & Young, since 1995 – 2002.

Professor of Special Taxes, in the Business and Administration Faculty, of the Central University of Chile ; between 1993 – 1995. Tutor of Management Law in the Faculty of Industrial Engineering at the University of Chile , between the years 1996-2001. Professor of International Taxing, in the Masters program of Taxes; at the Faculty of Economics and Business Sciences at the University of Chile . He was also Tutoring Professor of the National and International Tax Planning Program. Tutoring Professor of the International Tax Program in the Masters of Law, in the Enterprises at the Faculty of Law, at the Catholic University of Chile . Lecturer in various Seminars, and Lecture, in Chile and Abroad. He was also in charged of various Tax publications at Ernst & Young.

Araya, Jorge

Jorge Araya is a Lawyer and graduate of Social and Legal Sciences, at the Gabriela Mistral University of Chile. Masters in Law, specializing in Business Law (MBL), at the Law Faculty, of the Adolfo Ibañez University, Chile. He has done various specializing courses in Chile ; and also abroad. Highlighting a Masters in Economy and Law Management (MEGA) at the Gabriela Mistral University of Chile; He has a postgraduate diploma in Tax duty and agreements at the Finis Térrae University, Chile. He has a postgraduate diploma in Finance for Non-specialists at the Adolfo Ibañez University, Chile. And assisted a Management Program for Lawyers, MPL en Yale School of Management. Currently he is assisting a Masters Program in Tax Management (MDGT) in the Law Faculty at the Adolfo Ibañez University, Chile.

He has broad experience in Corporate Law. He was Senior Lawyer, of the Legal and Tax Department at Ernst & Young; Chile.

Canales, Octavio

Graduate of Public Accountant Auditing in 1989. Masters in Law, specializing in Tax Law, at the Faculty of Law of the University of Chile. He has done numerous specializing courses in Chile and abroad; Highlighting a Post grade in Tax Legislation held by the University of Santiago. Between the years 1999-2000 he specialized in International Tax and worked in the International Tax Department of Ernst & Young in New York City; being Chilean Desk.

He served as Participating Partner of The Legal and Tax department of Ernst & Young Chile, With over 20 years of professional expertise.

Tutoring professor of Tax Planning and International Taxing in the Masters Program, Law in the Enterprise at the Faculty of Law of the Catholic University of Chile.

Professor of Tax planning in the Masters Degree in Taxation and Professor of graduates in national and international taxation and tax planning and management of the faculty of economics and business from the Universidad de Chile, since the year 2000. He has been lecturer in various seminars nationally and internationally, all of these having to do with National and International Tax Matters. Member of International Fiscal Association and of the Chilean Institute of Tax Law.
